Returns & Refund Policy

You are a valued customer, and we will endeavor to provide you the best possible customer service. We at Design Café understand, however, that sometimes a product may not be what you expected it to be. In that unlikely event, we invite You to review the following terms related to returning a product. Please notify the seller of any defects in the product/s at the time of delivery of the product/s within 7 (seven) days from the date of delivery. The said product/s will be replaced on return of the defective product subject to the terms provided herein.
Please note that by placing an order or making a purchase at the Website, You agree to the following terms:
- Any exchange or refund will not be made against the non-returnable items, unless there is a defect or the product delivered is different from its description.
- Any non-manufacturing defects and damages post receiving a delivery are not valid for returns or replacements. Customized and made-to-order furniture pieces, purchased from Us (Design Café), cannot be returned or exchanged.
- Live plants are non-returnable due to hygiene/health and personal care/wellness/consumable nature of the product. However, in the unlikely event of damaged, defective, or different item delivered to you, we will provide a full refund or free replacement as applicable.
All You need to do is to ensure that the product is in its original condition, with brand outer box, MRP tags attached, user manual, warranty cards, and original accessories in manufacturer packaging for a successful return pick-up. The field executive will refuse to accept the return if said conditions are not met.
For products where installation is provided by Our service partners, do not open the product packaging by Yourself as Our authorized personnel will unbox, and install the item/product. In the event You open or attempt installing the item/product then We or Our service partners shall not be liable for any defect or damage of the product/item, and the breach of warranty related to such product/item.
If there are any terms in this policy or the policies notified by the sellers, that You do not agree with, please discontinue use of our Website and/or our services on an immediate basis.
In case of any conflict between the any specific policy governing the products, and this general policy, the specific policy will always prevail. Design Café is not liable under any specific policies that may be notified by the respective sellers.
If at the time of delivery and/or within 7 (seven) days from the date of delivery of the product/s, if any defect is found, then you can ask for replacement of the product/s from the seller subject to the following terms and conditions:
- Notify seller of any defects in the product/s at the time of delivery of the product/s and/or within 7 (seven) days from the date of delivery and the same product/s will be replaced in return of the defective product/s.
- Replacement can be for the entire product/s or part/s of the product subject to availability of the same with the seller.
The seller may contact You to ascertain the damage or defect in the product prior to issuing replacement. You hereby understand that replacement is subject to availability of stock with the relevant seller. Subject to the conditions provided herein and the Seller’s Policy, in the event a seller is unable to process a replacement for any reason whatsoever, a refund for the said product/item will be given by Design Café. For any products for which a refund is to be given, the refund will be processed once the returned product has been received by the seller. Therefore, the refund time may vary by time taken by the courier partner to deliver the return to the seller. You will be notified of the same by email.
